Screams echoed throughout the haze. Cats everywhere, fighting, screeching, clawing, wrestling. Blood filled the forest floor of the feline-infested clearing. Everything seemed to happen in slow-motion. A brown body shot towards a tremendously big warrior, black and white. He reached out with his front claws, face twisted in fury, and swiped out. The tom thrust himeself forward and slamed into the brown apprentice's neck with his super long claws. It sliced right across his throught and a scream of fear that had split through the clearing was cut short and another yell lit up. "Owlpaw!" The gray she-cat saw no more as another dark pelt attacked.
Silverstar leapt to her feet. She was panting hard, as if she had just travled the whole forest. She shook her head to clear away the headach that was fogging her mind. Just a dream, Silverstar. Just a dream. But she couldn't get that scene out of her mind, her brother's last fight, last battle, last moment. She cringed at the memory.
A blinding light suddenly hit Silverstar's eyes. She squinted and realized it was sunlight. You need to focus on your responsabilities, not some old battle. Just a dream. Silverstar padded towards the reeds that covored the entrence to her den. She stepped out into the camp, finally ready to face today's challenge. That's right, just like that. It's a new day. That expirience was one. Today's a whole lot different. Silverstar suddenly realized how hungry she was and headed towards the fresh-kill pile.
Just a dream.
(Yea, I know, one post, but this thread is over. )
