I have a few cats in my cat's family that didn't die in winter. Here they are:

Fairyflight
Gingerpaw's Mother

Appearence: Light gray pregnate queen with soft paws and pale ginger markings on her side. Her eyes are bright blue.
Personality: Fairyflight is superstitous that the leaf-bares are evil. She lost all but two kits in their fierce cold, though she loves the kits she has left with the same fiercness as the coldest and speediest winds. Her new mate, Blacksparrow, died in a battle. She is determined not to lose her new kits in the next storms. Otherwise, she is kind and gentle to all.

Bumblewings
Gingerpaw's Father

Appearence: Unusually small ight ginger tom with night-black stripes and green eyes.
Personality: Bumblewings is a very quick little cat in and out of waters. He may not move as swiftly as Windclan, but his timing in the water is incredible. Though he is fast by nature, he finds any time at all to rub it in. He is not only skilled with his paws but his boasting too. He always askes to go on patrols because he wants to really prove it.

Breezepaw
Gingerpaw's Sister

Appearence: White she-cat with gray eyes and gray markings along her back, like wind.
Personality: Just like her father, Breezepaw loves to boast about her amazing running skills. This little one is faster out of water then her father was, but she still can't outrun him. Unlike her father, she listens to other cat's skills and boasts and supports if necessary. In fact, sometimes she likes hearing other stories then her own!

If it's okay, I'd like to be Gingerpaw's sister, Breezpaw.

RP example: The heat of battle washed upon the small figure that lay on the ground. Her breathing was forced and she bled from several wounds. The black and gray warrior tried to haul herself up but it was too much for her weak paws and she flopped back down. She watched as a huge ginger tomcat reached for the sky with a single paw, claws flashing, and then bring it down with tremendous strength on the gray cat that was trying to flee. She was brought down in one swipe. The defeated warrior managed to get out her name, Dawnrise. Once again, she tried to get up, but failed. A sudden shadow fell over the struggling feline and she looked up. The leader of the cats, huge, silver, red-eyed, with blood dripping from his mouth, stood over the scrawny body. "And so, the winners win, and Bloodclan will rule this forest." The tom smiled. "Bloodslash has truly enjoyed doing buisness with you, but its time for the famous Blackrose to die. You've done too much trouble for me. This will finish you." Bloodslash raised a huge paw stained with blood and brought it down on the cat. But it hit empty air. Bloodslash smiled and turned around, swiping again, but missed as the cat standing there leaped with claws outstretched. She flew towards her final enemy, satisfaction making its way past pain. This is my destiny and this is my final act. I shall become a legend. She grabbed onto Bloodslash's head and thrust her sharp-clawed hind-legs straight into his throat. The silver tom's eyes got huge as blood welled from his mortal wound. Blackrose got eyes level with him and said, "Remember that a rose's support is its greatest weapon." And with that she jumped away from the dying cat and landed uneasily on her paws. The around her stopped as the cat fell to the ground with a loud thud. It was a while after the cats had all fled that they realized Blackrose hadn't moved from the spot that she had landed after defeating Bloodslash. The cats of Shadowclan slowly crept towards her, eyes wide with anxiety. They stopped right in front of her. A few moments passed in silence as the cats stared at the only leader that had refused to take on Starclan's name. Blackrose stared back and she smiled. She reached down and plucked a black rose from the grass in front of her. She began to walk back to the camp, her clan following her. They finally reached it and Blackrose stepped towards her den. She turned to her clan as she began to enter. She placed the black rose in front of her. "Remember that when a rose dies, it never leaves." And with that she walked into her den, and fell into her finaly sleep.
